At a time when the cornerstone genres of electronic dance music are colliding to create a new wave of sounds, Dan Baseley is proving to be an artist/producer with some real weight behind his productions. Although we may know Dan from his earlier tech infused trance anthems, we've recently seen a much deeper vision of his future beats appearing in the guise of his new Futuremass moniker.

“The Futuremass project is an outlet for me to release my deeper edged progressive/tech house material, maybe even some chillout and electronica. Over the past couple of years I found that I was experimenting more and more with sound design and mixing it up with an edgier, more underground feel of music, and I didn't want any of it to just sit on my hard drives, so I decided to start up my Futuremass moniker to give me an avenue to release different material, in fact I am working on this project pretty much 80% of the time at present”

"Optimized is my new label concept where I can bring all of the above together, with the same ideologies and purpose. The label's core is more reflective of what I love in the deeper side of progressive, tech house, techno and electronic music in general. I want to make sure Optimized is based around quality and also that it gives a lot more space for artists to release material which is more personal to what they love.”
